Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• Application means the software program named Law Library (com.lawlibrary.cop)
• Application Store means Google Play Store where the Application has been downloaded
• Country refers to: Uttar Pradesh, India
• Company (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to PARUL TRADE, Modipuram Meerut UP Pin 250110
• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, cellphone or digital tablet
• Free Tier refers to the basic access level allowing users to access all features with advertisements
• Premium Subscription (Ad-Free) refers to the paid tier that removes all advertisements while providing identical features
• Service refers to the Application or the Website or both
• Website refers to Law Library, accessible from lawlibrary.co.in
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service
• Email Verification refers to the optional process of confirming email ownership, not required for any features

Acknowledgment

These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

You represent that you are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

Account Registration and Authentication

Mandatory Account Creation

Access to the Law Library application requires a registered account. We do not provide guest access. You must create an account to use any features of the Service.

Authentication Methods

You may create an account using:

• Email and Password Registration: Provide a valid email and create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character)
• Google Sign-In: Register and login using your Google account

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• After 5 failed login attempts, your account will be temporarily locked for 15 minutes
• JWT authentication tokens expire after 24 hours
• Optional biometric authentication is available for secure login

Subscription Plans and Payments

Premium Subscription (Ad-Free)

The Premium Subscription provides the exact same features as the Free Tier with one difference: complete removal of all advertisements.

Advertisement Types (Free Tier Only)

Free Tier users will see up to 6 types of advertisements:

1. Global Interstitial Ad - every 8 user actions
2. Pinned Books Interstitial Ad - once per session
3. Favorites Native Ad - after 2nd group
4. Tags Native Ad - after 8th tag
5. Library List Native Ad - every 10 books
6. Library Grid Native Ad - every 10 books

Premium subscribers see zero advertisements.

Payment Processing

• All payments processed securely through Razorpay
• Accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and digital wallets
• Payments in Indian Rupees (INR)
• All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions begin immediately upon successful payment
• Subscriptions do NOT auto-renew
• Notifications sent 7, 3, and 1 day before expiry
• 3-day grace period after expiry (ad-free continues)
• After grace period, ads return but all features remain accessible
• All user data preserved indefinitely

• We strive to ensure accuracy through regular updates
• Users should refer to official sources for critical matters

Multi-Language Support

Content provided in 9 Indian languages: Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Content Usage License

• Limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without permission
• Downloaded content is for offline personal use only

• Information is for general purposes only and should NOT be considered legal advice
• Users should consult official government publications or legal professionals for legal matters
• We are not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. We provide no warranty that the Service will meet Your requirements, achieve intended results, be compatible with other software, operate without interruption, or be error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. The entire liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹100 (whichever is greater).

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, database, analytics, cloud messaging
• Google Sign-In: OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Razorpay: Payment processing and subscription management
• Google AdMob: Advertisement delivery (Free Tier only)
• Google Cloud Storage: Content and user data storage

Termination

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately for:

• Breach of these Terms and Conditions
• Engagement in prohibited activities
• Providing false information
• Violation of applicable laws

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at parulkarnawal@gmail.com or using the account deletion feature in the Application.

Effect of Termination

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (after 30 days)
• Downloaded content must be deleted

Governing Law and Disputes

• Governing Law: The laws of India
• Dispute Resolution: First try to resolve informally by contacting us; otherwise through arbitration per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh
• Jurisdiction: Courts of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India

Miscellaneous Provisions

• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in effect
• Waiver: Failure to exercise a right does not waive it
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without consent
• Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement
• Translation: The original English text prevails in case of dispute

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, You agree to the revised terms.
